Fabric

Re-Active H2DRY yarn represents the perfect synthesis of artisan craftsmanship and advanced technological research by Zegna Baruffa, developed with the support of The Woolmark Company. Made from 100% superfine wool (17.5 microns), it undergoes a special treatment that allows the skin to breathe while efficiently wicking moisture away from the body. The yarn also offers low pilling and easy-care properties.

This unique treatment enables knitted fabrics to be worn comfortably directly against the skin, keeping the body’s surface dry and enhancing overall comfort.

In vivo tests have demonstrated that garments made with H2DRY yarn provide 7% greater breathability compared to a reference wool yarn. Additionally, residual perspiration on the garment is reduced by 10%, and the skin in contact with the fabric can feel up to 1.5°C cooler.

Seamless construction

Seamless apparel knitting is an advanced manufacturing process that uses circular or flat-bed machines to create garments in a single, continuous piece. By eliminating side seams, it enhances comfort, fit, and durability and significantly minimizing material waste.
